My YearThe past 4 years of our lives have come and gone so quickly…we proved that the impossible was possible and never backed down in the face of adversity. We cried together, and lent that helping hand...we laughed together, got stressed out together, smiled together and built many wonderful memories together…We’ve shared some of the best years of our lives together…here’s to the Class of 2008!
As a Class, we’ve left our mark and made it known that we’ll pick up where the generations before us failed…whether it be through our emerging as leaders in student government, sports, in the classroom or in supporting each other, we’ve done it all together. When I look back at the rich history we’ve all created together, I don’t think about the tests we passed or failed, or the really bad food in the cafeteria; I remember the people…I remember the teachers that inspired me to achieve greatness, all the guest speakers that influenced my views and attitudes, and most of all, my friends and “family” that makes up the Class of 2008. The people that we meet and befriend in life are what make the days special and why I’ll inevitably look back and really miss high school.
We’re moving on…and bound to be separated from best friends, and all those familiar faces. But our memories times shared together will live on in our legacy…we’re taking another step into the future – the future that we’ve been all waiting for since starting high school 4 years ago…thank you to all my friends and classmates and best of luck in all your endeavors; here’s to your health, happiness and good fortune – I will miss you dearly and I hope many of our paths cross again…
