Odyssey Interactive Announces the Hiring of Andrew Edwards as Vice President of Marketing and Business Development


New Milford, Connecticut (January 1, 2009) – Odyssey Interactive, the nation’s leading producer of digital yearbooks for high school and other institutions, is proud to announce the hiring of Andrew Edwards to fill the position of Vice President, Marketing and Business Development.

Mr. Edwards will be responsible for strategic planning including corporate positioning market and competitive analysis, customer segment selection and penetration plans, and related product positioning, for overseeing marketing communications including branding, public relations, advertising, white papers, trade shows, seminars and events collateral materials, analyst and market research management, and website design and content either directly or on an outsourced basis, for overseeing product management including market and customer research for market and product requirements, interface with engineering for product development, product pricing and product lifecycle management and for overseeing product marketing including product launch management, sales training, presentations, sales tools, competitive analysis and general sales support.

Mr. Edwards was previously the Marketing Manager at Skin For Life, Inc. where he created the foundation for the company’s strategic marketing and sales support efforts. During his tenure, the marketing and sales efforts under his direction contributed to consistent revenue growth. He was also previously employed by Smiths Detection and by The MacDonald Partnership.

Andrew earned a Bachelor of Commerce Degree (B. Comm.) from Stellenbosch University, graduating with distinction in Marketing Management.
